1. Scope and operator

This Privacy Policy explains how Yoob AI Ltd. ("Yoob AI", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Bangs mobile application (the "App"), our related websites, and the services available through them (collectively, the "Services"). Bangs is an AI hair-styling app that lets you preview hairstyles, hair colors, and other looks on your own photo.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide, information generated by your use of the Services, and information from trusted third parties.

• Photos you choose: the specific images you select from your camera or photo library to restyle in the App. We access only the photos you pick for editing, not your whole library.
• Facial feature data: face landmarks detected in the photos you provide, used only to place and generate hairstyles, colors, and related edits (see "Photos and facial feature data").
• Account and profile data: where you sign in, your authentication identifiers and the preferences and settings you choose.
• Purchase history: your subscription status, credit (boost) balance, plan details, and transaction confirmations from Apple or Google.
• App usage data: features used, styles previewed, session times, crash logs, and diagnostic and performance data.
• Device and identifier data: device model, OS version, device identifiers, push tokens, advertising identifiers (Google AdID, Apple IDFA), network state, and IP address (and the associated approximate location).
• Support and communications: messages and attachments you send us.
• Cookies and similar technologies on our websites: session, preference, security, and analytics cookies.

3. Photos and facial feature data

We use the photos you choose only to provide the App's styling features. To generate a new look, the App detects facial features and landmarks in your photo and applies AI transformations.

Where possible, detection runs on your device. For AI generation that needs more computing power, the selected photo is uploaded temporarily to our cloud providers, processed, and the result is returned to you. We do not use your photos to identify you, and we do not sell them.

Facial feature data is used solely to deliver these editing features and is discarded after processing. If applicable law treats images processed by the App or the generated facial feature data as biometric identifiers, then by using these features you provide your informed consent to this processing as described in this Policy.

We take steps to remove metadata (such as geotags) that may be attached to the photos you provide.

4. How we use your information

We do not use the photos you provide for any purpose other than to provide the App's styling and related functionality. We use other information to operate, secure, and improve the Services.

• Provide core features, including hairstyle, hair color, and clothing try-on, beautify, enhance, and saving results.
• Create and maintain your account and manage subscription and credit (boost) entitlements.
• Process payments, prevent fraud, and enforce billing policies.
• Improve performance, reliability, and safety, including crash reporting and A/B testing.
• Respond to support requests and send service updates and, where permitted, marketing communications you can opt out of.
• Show advertisements in the free version through our advertising partners.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

5. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal data or your photos. We share information only as needed to deliver the Services.

• Service providers: hosting, cloud processing, customer support, analytics, crash reporting, and security tooling.
• AI model provider (OpenAI): to process your selected photo and generate results.
• Payment processors: Apple and Google, to manage subscriptions, credit purchases, and refunds.
• Advertising partners: in the free version, to display and measure ads.
• Legal and compliance: to respond to lawful requests or protect rights and safety.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

6. AI processing and outputs

When you use an AI feature, the photo you select is sent to OpenAI, a third-party AI provider, which processes it to generate your result. We share only what is needed to produce your result, and the photo is retained by our systems and by OpenAI only temporarily to generate your result and is then deleted.

The photos you submit ("Inputs") and the generated results ("Outputs") may be processed by our systems and by OpenAI to deliver results and to enforce safety policies.

Outputs are generated by AI and may be similar to results provided to other users. We do not guarantee that Outputs are unique, accurate, or suitable for any particular purpose.

7. Third-party services and SDKs

We use third-party services and SDKs to run and improve the App. These providers may collect data directly from your device under their own privacy policies.

• Analytics and product tooling, such as Firebase, Mixpanel, AppsFlyer, Amplitude, and GrowthBook.
• Crash reporting, such as Firebase Crashlytics.
• Advertising in the free version, such as Google AdMob.
• Payments and store services provided by Apple and Google.
• AI generation provider (OpenAI), and cloud hosting and image processing providers.

8. Cookies and analytics

On our websites we use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand usage.

• Strictly necessary: authentication, security, and session management.
• Preferences: language and interface settings.
• Analytics: aggregate usage metrics and performance monitoring.

9. Data retention

We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Selected photos uploaded for cloud generation are retained only temporarily to produce your result and are then deleted.

You may request deletion of your account and content, subject to legal requirements and backup retention windows.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International transfers

Your data may be processed outside your country. We use appropriate safeguards to protect personal data during international transfers.

12. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to certain processing.

• Access and correction: request a copy of your data or corrections.
• Deletion: request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Restriction and objection: object to certain processing.
• Portability: request a machine-readable export where applicable.
• Marketing opt out: unsubscribe from promotional messages.

13. Children's privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

14. Managing device permissions

Bangs only uses the permissions you grant, such as camera, photos, and notifications. You can revoke them at any time:

• iOS: Settings, then Privacy & Security, then the permission type (Camera or Photos), then turn off Bangs.
• Android: Settings, then Apps, then Bangs, then Permissions, then disable the specific permission.
• Revoking permissions may limit or disable related features.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post updates on this page and revise the "Last updated" date.
